More news from Stroller Strides, the fitness program for moms ...

This time, the Raleigh Running Mamas program, a program through Stroller Strides Raleigh, will start back up March 4. The two-month program is designed specifically for moms. Strollers are welcome, though not required. Moms will be ready to participate in a 5K or 10K (your choice) by the end of the program. No experience is required for 5K training participants.

Jen Kedrowski, of Stroller Strides Raleigh and Raleigh Running Mamas, is offering training options for both working and stay at home moms. Programs are offered at 9:30 a.m. Fridays at Lake Johnson Park in Raleigh or 5 p.m. Sundays at Apex Community Park. Participants get a detailed weekly training plan to complete additional runs on their own each week.

The 5K program ends with the Raleigh Run for our Heroes 5K on April 30.  The 10K culminates with the Inside Out 10K on May 22.
