Raleigh police seek ninth suspect in murder

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police charged a ninth person Tuesday in the slaying of a man whose body was found in a southeast Raleigh subdivision.

The body of Robert George Gagnon Jr., 28, was found Saturday at 5600 Bringle Court in a subdivision off Poole Road. A neighbor reported hearing sounds of a scuffle in the home during the night, police said.

Michael Jordan McDuffie, 21, was charged Tuesday with murder in Gagnon's death. Police were looking for McDuffie and asked anyone who knows where he might be to call the Raleigh Police detective division at 919-890-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-2746.

Bravette Devon Chrisp, 18, Marcus Pierre Davon Johnson, 21, and Darrell Jerome Lavine, 19, are also charged with murder in Gagnon's death.

Zachary Delarente Colmore, 17, Ebony Monique Johnson, 18, Louis Johnson III, 21, and Joshua Lee Locus, 20, are charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

On Tuesday, police arrested 21-year-old Murad Terrell Taylor and charged him with being an accessory after the fact of murder. Taylor was transported to the Wake County Jail.

Police haven't released information about the cause of Gagnon's death or the killers' motive.

The case remains under investigation.
