RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are asking for the public's help identifying a larceny suspect.

On Oct. 9, a fuel card was stolen from a truck, owned by the CSX Corporation, in the 800 block of Semart Drive. The card was later used fraudulently by the suspect to purchase fuel for multiple vehicles, police said.

On Aug. 15, a CSX locomotive on tracks near Semart Drive was started and moved a short distance by an unknown person. Police said they are investigating the possibility that the two incidents are related.

Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-996-3555 or Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-HELP. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
