RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were searching Friday afternoon for a man who robbed a BB&T branch on Litchford Road.

Authorities say the man went into the bank at about 12:20 p.m., implied he had a weapon and demanded cash.

After the teller complied with the robber's demands, the robber left the area on foot and entered a parking lot at Muirfield Village Apartments. No injuries were reported.

The robber was about 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, khaki pants, a safety vest and sunglasses. In surveillance photos from the scene, the man has long dreadlock-style hair, but authorities said the hair may be attached to a hat the robber was wearing.

Anyone with information on the robber's identity should call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357.
