Raleigh police investigating early-morning shooting

Police found a mean dead in the 6100 block of Foxhall Village Road around 1 a.m.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Wednesday morning.

A police spokesman said in a news release that officers responding around 1 a.m. to a shooting in the 6100 block of Foxhall Village Road found Alfonso Canjay, 42, of Raleigh, dead at the scene.

Detectives are looking for two men in their late 20s who stand between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 8 inches. One was wearing a blue-gray hooded sweatshirt; the other was bald and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
