Raleigh police looking for two bank robbers

Raleigh police are looking for two men who robbed a Wells Fargo bank branch on Fairview Road late Friday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are investigating a robbery that happened late Friday morning at a Raleigh Wells Fargo bank branch.

Two masked men, including one armed with a handgun, robbed the bank, at 2016 Fairview Road, around 11:45 a.m. and fled on foot.

They were last seen turning south on Jarvis Street, a Raleigh police spokesman said.

There were no reports of injuries.

Descriptions of the men were vague. One was about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build, and the other was about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall.

Both were wearing gray hooded jackets and dark trousers.
