Raleigh police were searching for two black men early Friday who are accused of trying to rob three Hispanic men and then shooting one of them.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were searching for two black men early Friday who are accused of trying to rob three Hispanic men and then shooting one of them.

The shooting victim, Victorio Cirilo-Rosales, 29, was expected to survive, police said.

He was walking with his brother, Ramiro Cirilo-Rosales, 26, and a cousin, Honoreo Ruiz-Cirilo, 23, at the Lakes Apartment complex off Sandy Forks Road around 12:20 a.m. when two black men approached them and demanded their wallets, according to police.

The three men said “no,” and the black men shot Victorio Cirilo-Rosales in the stomach, police said.

No other details were available.
