<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A Raleigh man is accused of taking indecent liberties with an 8-year-old girl.

Jimmy Ray Scott, 54, is charged with three counts of indecent liberties, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Scott was a friend of the victim's family, and that the alleged offenses occurred from July 5-13.

Scott was being held Wednesday in the Wake County Jail on $25,000 bond.
