A Raleigh father is accused of leaving his baby alone in a car while he was shoplifting.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh father is accused of leaving his baby alone in a car while he was shoplifting.

Frederick Jermaine Pullen Jr., 35, of 626 Ralph Drive, was charged with larceny and child abuse.

According to the arrest warrant, Pullen left his 9-month-old daughter in the car for 15 minutes while he went inside a Walmart to steal two pairs of women's pants.

Pullen was being held Sunday in the Wake County jail under a $2,500 bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.
