Raleigh Little Theatre, which offers a slate of education programs and classes, has added some new locations this fall.

Starting this fall, classes will be held in Knightdale and Wake Forest. They already are offered in Apex, Wendell and at RLT's Raleigh home base.

The programs in Raleigh and Apex are designed for up to age 18 (starting at age 4 in Raleigh and age 6 in Apex). At the other locations, they are offered generally for grade schoolers to tweens. Programs include an improv class, creative drama, stage combat and more.

The folks at Raleigh Little Theatre tell me the new locations were created based on demand and shared this from Knightdale's parks and recreation department:

“The Knightdale Recreation Center has hosted RLT classes in the past and they were very successful," says Megan Thornton at Knightdale parks and recreation. "We had many recent requests to bring classes back to Knightdale, so we are very excited for RLT to return and provide high quality programming to local youth.”
