The city of Raleigh has delayed the start of its leaf connection program until Nov. 13 due to lack of sufficient leaf fall.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The city of Raleigh has delayed the start of its leaf connection program until Nov. 13 due to lack of sufficient leaf fall.

City crews hope to complete a sweep of Raleigh before Christmas. Crews will collect leaves starting with neighborhoods south of South Wilmington Street and rotating clockwise toward Wade Avenue.

Another sweep of the city is scheduled for Jan. 2, with completion in mid-February.
