Raleigh Beer Week kicks off Sunday

Raleigh Beer Week, which celebrates craft beer, is Aug. 26-Sept 1.

Get ready for a week-long celebration of craft beer.

Raleigh Beer Week starts Sunday and runs through Saturday, Sept. 1. Here's a rundown of the official schedule: 
Sunday: Noon-5 p.m. - Kick-off party at Busy Bee Cafe
Monday: 6 p.m. - "Beer cocktails" with Andrew Shepherd at Foundation
                8 p.m. - Raleigh Mother Earth "Randall" of Tripel Overhead at Draft
Tuesday: 5 p.m. - Tasty Beverage/New Belgium tap takeover
                  6-9 p.m. - Tir na Nog "Beers with a Sweet Tooth" beer and dessert pairing 
                  9 p.m. - midnight - Olde Hickory Cask Night at Landmark
Wednesday: 5 p.m. - Tasty Beverage/Oskar Blues Rare beer tapping
                        6 p.m. - {{a href="venue-7018006"{{/a}}Flying Saucer{{/a}} Keep the Glass night featuring the official Raleigh Beer Week glass
                        9-11 p.m. - Mystery Beer Guessing Game at The Borough
Thursday: 6-8 p.m. - Busy Bee Brewers panel "Local beer, local ingredients" with All About Beer's Win Bassett 
                   6-8 p.m. - Bottle Revolution/Craft Beer Collective "Big Boss Rare Beer Tasting"
                   7-9 p.m. - Live Skype with New Belgium brewer Lauren Salazar at the Daily Planet Cafe
                   7-10 p.m. - Beer cocktails from the land of Nog at Tir na Nog
Friday: 6-8 p.m. - Landmark weekend kick-off cask 
             9-11 p.m. - Draft Raleigh presents Great Divide Night with a cask of Yeti
Saturday: Noon-2 p.m. - Flying Saucer rare beer tapping with 10 rare beers 
                  5-8 p.m. - Tyler's Taproom Beer Week closing party
