QVC show filming live in Chapel Hill Wednesday

The cooking show "In the Kitchen with David" will film in Wallace Plaza

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — UNC graduate David Venable will be heading back to Chapel Hill for a special live broadcast of his QVC show "In the Kitchen with David" on Wednesday.

The show will be broadcast from 8-10 p.m. in Wallace Plaza, 150 East Rosemary St., and will include an appearance by Mildred Council aka Mama Dip, who will be selling her cookbook.

If you want to attend the broadcast you will need to reserve a ticket on QVC's ticket website. Just select the Chapel Hill show. There is a limit of four free tickets per person. Check-in starts at 7 p.m.

In appreciation to the Town of Chapel Hill for helping facilitate this remote broadcast, QVC made a donation to Hope Community Garden.
