Pullen's kiddie boats closed for maintenance
The boats will be closed until mid-February.

I was at Pullen Park with my two-year-old Tuesday and noticed that its kiddie boats are closed.
Richard Costello, the city's recreation program director and, as I like to call him "Pullen Park guy," tells me that they are closed as part of Pullen's ride maintenance schedule. During the next couple of weeks, the boats and pool will be cleaned. Some other preventative maintenance work will be completed too.
The boats are scheduled to reopen by Feb. 17.
