Project Enlightenment lines up workshops for parents
The Wake County schools center will offer workshops on everything from understanding your child's temperament to building relationships between home and school.

Project Enlightenment, the early childhood education center that's part of Wake County Public School System, offers all kinds of resources for parents of babies to preschoolers.
They include regular workshops for parents. Here are some that are coming up:
Understanding Temperament and How It Impacts Your Child’s Behavior, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., April 2. Instructor: Edla Prevette
Parent Involvement: Building Relationships Between Home and School, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., April 7. Instructor: Mary Hill
Triple P- Raising Confident, Competent Children, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., April 7. Aprielle Anderson
Developing Emotional Intelligence and Resiliency in Our Children, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., April 16. Instructor: John Panepinto
Positive Discipline: Firmness and Limit Setting, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., April 28, May 5 and May 12. Instructors: Val Wilson and Lynn Johnston
Understanding and Supporting your Shy, Cautious, or Anxious Child, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m, May 21. Instructor: Edla Prevette
Project Enlightenment's website has more information and registration details. The cost is generally $20 per session for individuals and $30 for couples. Project Enlightenment is on Boylan Avenue near downtown Raleigh.
