Pothole repair begins on I-795

Work has begun to repair potholes along a stretch of Interstate 795 between Wilson and Goldsboro.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Work has begun to repair potholes along a stretch of Interstate 795 between Wilson and Goldsboro.

Crews from the N.C. Department of Transportation will work in the outside lanes in each direction over the next few weeks. The DOT wants to complete the repairs before true cold weather sets in for the season.

The repairs are expected to cost $600,000.
