Police seek two in Durham shooting

Christopher Wayne McGill, 38, of Willowdale Drive, and Michael Tyree Brown, 19, of Massey Avenue, face murder charges in the death of Daniel Evans, 25, of Raleigh, inside Evans Mini Mart near Linwood and Alston avenues.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Durham Police Department at 919-560-4440, ext. 29335 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrest in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.

McGill and Brown are the second and third people to be charged with the crime. Police arrested Rashaun Lamont Mason, 22, of Naples Place, March 17. He was being held without bond in the Durham County Jail.
