Police seek suspect in Fayetteville convenience store robbery

Fayetteville police asked for help from the public in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery at the Wilco Hess, 3706 Raeford Road.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police asked for help from the public in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery at the Wilco Hess, 3706 Raeford Road.

Police said the suspect entered the store June 11, brandished a firearm and demanded money from the clerk.

Police distributed a surveillance photo of the man to aid in the search.
