Police seek leads in slaying of Greenville man

Police are looking for leads in the slaying of a Greenville man, whose body was discovered in an apartment near East Carolina University Sunday.

GREENVILLE, N.C. — Police are looking for leads in the slaying of a Greenville man, whose body was discovered in an apartment near East Carolina University Sunday.

Roy Erwin Kleber, 55, was shot to death, but police declined to provide additional details.

Detectives canvassed the neighborhood surrounding the University Park Apartments complex, at 1112 E. 10th St. in Greenville.

Anyone with information can call the Greenville police department at 252-329-3937 or Pitt/Greenville Crimestoppers at 252-758-7777. Crimestoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
