Police Seek Help to Identify Fraud Suspect

Police on Thursday asked for the public's help in identifying a woman who used stolen credit cards to steal more than $8,000 in cash and merchandise last month.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police on Thursday asked for the public's help in identifying a woman who used stolen credit cards to steal more than $8,000 in cash and merchandise last month.

The owner of the credit cards told investigators she was shopping at Kroger on Hillsborough Road on April 19, and when she went to pay for her groceries, she discovered that her wallet and credit cards were missing.

The woman suspected in the theft used the stolen credit cards in at least five locations in April.
