Police seek Fayetteville convenience store robbers
Police on Thursday asked for the public's help to identify people suspected in two recent armed robberies of Fayetteville convenience stores.
Posted — UpdatedA man and a woman robbed Kangaroo store at 2410 Owen Drive at about 10:45 p.m. Nov. 30, and a Wilco Hess station at 5030 Yadkin Road was robbed about 45 minutes later, police said.
A clerk at the second station suffered minor wounds when one of the robbers shot him.
The robbers were described as a thin black man, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a striped hooded sweatshirt, and a medium-built woman who is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and was wearing a pink shirt and a jacket with "Love Pink" on the back.
A second man was involved in the Wilco Hess robbery. He was described as black or Hispanic, about 6 feet tall, with a thin build and wearing a black jacket.
