SILER CITY, N.C. — A Siler City pastor faces more sex crimes charges after a second young member of his congregation came forward to talk with investigators, police said Thursday.
Oscar Jimenez, 53, was charged Saturday with two dozen sex crimes, as well as 10 counts of kidnapping, in connection with assaults involving one young girl.

In the latest case, he faces 20 counts of first-degree kidnapping, 24 counts of indecent liberties with a child, 24 counts of sexual battery and one count of common law robbery. The robbery charge stems from Jimenez taking something from the youth, police said.

Investigators continue to speak with others with whom Jimenez may have had contact, saying they fear there are more victims because of Jimenez's position of trust in the community.

"We are encouraging anyone who had a relationship with the church or the pastor to please come forward and share their experiences, and if they’re of criminal nature, we’ll continue to prosecute these cases as necessary," Police Chief Michael Wagner said Wednesday.
