Man charged in north Raleigh bank robbery

A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged Friday with robbing a north Raleigh bank.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged Friday with robbing a north Raleigh bank.

Wilbert Lewis Davis Jr., is charged with common-law robbery after he walked into the First Citizens bank at 4801 Capital Blvd. shortly after 12:30 p.m., handed a note to a teller demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, investigators said.

Davis was being held in the Wake County Detention Center.
