Police are searching for a man who robbed a north Raleigh bank on Friday afternoon.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are searching for a man who robbed a north Raleigh bank on Friday afternoon.

The man walked into the First Citizens bank at 4801 Capital Blvd. shortly after 12:30 p.m., handed a note to a teller demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

No weapon was seen, and there were no injuries, police said.

The robber is described as about 5 feet 10 inches tall and having a thin build, a small mustache and a goatee. He was wearing a plaid shirt, dark-colored shorts, sandals, socks and a fedora.

Anyone who can identify the robber or has information about the robbery is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357.
