Police: Men looking for yard work try to rob homeowner
Fayetteville police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a woman in the driveway of her home.

According to police, officers responded to a home in the 300 block of Durant Drive after the men tried to open the woman’s car door while she was in her driveway. When the victim tried to pull away, one of the men pointed a handgun at her and fired.
The woman was not injured.
Detectives said men were soliciting yard work and other household jobs in the Gallup Acres neighborhood and the Hope Mills Road area.
