Durham police are investigating a robbery at the State Employees Credit Union on Thursday.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police are investigating a bank robbery at a Durham credit union after a man stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Durham police responded shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday to the State Employees Credit Union on Guess Road, the police department said in a news release. A suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect left the bank in a black, two-door vehicle.

The suspect is a white male with a thin build who is an estimated 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a gray hooded shirt and had a small goatee, the release said.
