Police hand out fliers in Cooper murder
Police handed out flyers asking for any information residents might have about the murder of a Cary mother.

Officers returned to the Lochmere neighborhood where Nancy Cooper, 34, of Wallsburg Court, lived before she was reported missing on July 12.
Police passed out fliers at the intersections of Lilly Atkins Road with Holly Springs Road and Lochmere Drive between 6 and 9 a.m. Those intersections are less than a mile from her house and three miles from the undeveloped subdivision where her body was found on July 14.
Cooper's husband, Brad Cooper, told police that his wife went missing after going on a jog at 7 a.m. Investigators want to talk to anyone who might have seen Nancy Cooper during that morning run.
Police have not named a suspect or person of interest in the case. Brad Cooper's attorneys have maintained that their client had nothing to do with his wife's death.
On Friday, Brad Cooper reached a settlement with Nancy Cooper's parents and aunt that allows them to keep custody of the couple's two young daughters through October.
