Police: Fleeing Raleigh man led to apartment stuffed with drugs
Greenville police arrested four men on drug-trafficking charges Friday after a Raleigh man fleeing from officers led them to an apartment filled with cocaine and marijuana.

Police received a tip that Wayne Junior Williams, 32, of 204 Park Glen Drive in Raleigh, was transporting drugs in Greenville.
Williams drove away when officers tried to stop his vehicle at Hooker Road and Greenville Boulevard, police said. He abandoned the vehicle at Horseshoe Drive but left it running. The vehicle rolled into a police cruiser.
Officers said they pursued Williams into an apartment on Hooker Road and arrested him there.
A search of the apartment turned up 15 grams of crack cocaine, 30 grams of powder cocaine, 126 grams of marijuana, a stolen .380-caliber handgun and $2,726 in cash.
Police charged four people:
- Williams: charged with fleeing to elude arrest, hit-and-run leaving the scene of collision, resisting a public officer, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana; $100,000 secured bond
- Marcus Christopher Brown, 32, of 1318 Hooker Road in Greenville: charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance and possession of a stolen firearm; $100,000 secured bond
- Anthony Mazon Fagan, 35, of 1004 Southern Ave. in Elizabeth City: charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; $10,000 secured bond
- Jarian Teron Knight, 30, of 635 Holland Road in Greenville: charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; $10,000 secured bond
All four men have previous convictions for selling or possessing drugs, according to state Department of Correction records.
