Police find body near Shelley Lake in Raleigh
The body of a Raleigh woman was found in Shelley Lake Park Friday afternoon, police said.

Police identified the body Saturday as Vinitia Helana Bridges, 32, of Raleigh.
It wasn't clear how Bridges died, but police spokesman Jim Sughrue said an initial investigation showed no signs of foul play.
She had been reported missing earlier in the day Friday, police said, and officers had been trying to locate her in the vicinity of the park, which is off West Millbrook Road in north Raleigh.
No other information was released.
