A customer shot a store clerk in Sanford after he was denied cigarettes, according to the Sanford Police Department.

A customer shot a store clerk in Sanford after he was denied cigarettes, according to the Sanford Police Department.

The clerk refused to sell the customer cigarettes unless the customer had his I.D.

As the customer was leaving the store, he pulled out a fire arm and fired a shot at the business. He fled on foot away from the scene.

No one was injured.
