DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police say they have arrested a suspect in Monday's robbery of the First South Bank at 4215 University Drive.

A man entered the bank and demanded money shortly after 1 p.m., police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and got in a small white car occupied by two other people. Responding officers stopped a vehicle on South Roxboro Street, near Carlton Crossing Drive, a short time later and arrested Cameron Lawrence Taylor.
