Polar Ice House offers hot weather deal
For the rest of the summer, Polar Ice House's three locations in Cary, Garner and Wake Forest will offer a discounted admission of $5 on days that the temperature goes above 95 degrees.

With likely only more hot weather in the forecast, Wake County's Polar Ice House locations are offering a deal to cool down.
For the rest of the summer, Polar Ice House's three locations in Cary, Garner and Wake Forest will offer a discounted admission of $5 on days that the temperature goes above 95 degrees. MVP Sports Factory in Wake Forest also is offering a similar "Beat the Heat" deal - buy one, get one free admission for open play.
To get the deal, just mention the Weather Channel temperature at the register of any Wake County location. Polar Ice Houses, which feature ice rinks that are open all year, offered the deal last summer.
"This special was very popular last summer with kids and parents, so we’re launching it again this year in response to the recent heat wave," General Manager Michael Baxter said in a press release.
