Pinehurst police seek person of interest in bank robbery
Pinehurst police are looking for a man spotted in the vicinity of the RBC Centura Bank at 25 Chinquapin Road in the days before it was robbed.

PINEHURST, N.C. — Pinehurst police are looking for a man spotted in the vicinity of the RBC Centura Bank at 25 Chinquapin Road in the days before it was robbed.
Police said a robber wearing a mask ambushed an employee who arrived to open the bank on Jan. 4. They released images captured by surveillance cameras outside the bank and asked for help identifying the man pictured.
Anyone who recognizes the man, or who has information about the robbery is asked to call the Pinehurst Police Department at 910-295-3141 or the Charlotte division of the FBI at 704-377-9200.
