<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Police are investigating a stabbing in downtown Fayetteville.

On Tuesday around 10:30 p.m., Fayetteville police officers responded to the Family Fare BP at 225 Rowan St. after someone called to report a stabbing.

A person was stabbed multiple times in the downtown area, police said, although the exact location is unknown.

The person was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
