CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car Thursday afternoon in Chapel Hill

The person was hit at the intersection of South Columbia Street and Cameron Avenue at about 4:15 p.m., officials said.

The victim's name was not released. The person suffered a broken leg, police said.
