Pedestrian killed in Fayetteville
Nathlie Whitted, 48, of Gertrude Street, was crossing Pamalee Drive near Commonwealth Drive shortly before 7 p.m. when she was hit by a northbound vehicle, Fayetteville police said.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck and killed Monday night in Fayetteville, police said.
Nathlie Whitted, 48, of Gertrude Street, was crossing Pamalee Drive near Commonwealth Drive shortly before 7 p.m. when she was hit by a northbound vehicle, police said.
Whitted was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she died.
There was no word on whether the unidentified driver would face charges.
