Pedestrian seriously injured in Durham hit-and-run; minivan sought
An unidentified pedestrian was seriously injured Monday morning after being hit by a vehicle on Avondale Drive, Durham police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — An unidentified pedestrian was seriously injured Monday morning after being hit by a vehicle on Avondale Drive, Durham police said.
Authorities said the man was walking along the road near Howard Street at about 2:30 a.m. when he was hit by a silver minivan.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
