Passenger attacked on Delta flight; man charged
Police at Raleigh-Durham International Airport charged a Fayetteville man Wednesday with assaulting another airline passenger.

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Police at Raleigh-Durham International Airport charged a Fayetteville man Tuesday with assaulting another airline passenger.
Howard Alexander Hargett, 37, of 6420 Brookshire St., was charged with simple assault.
Police said Hargett attacked a man aboard Delta Airlines Flight 3928 from Memphis, Tenn., at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the incident, according to a police report.
Police said Hargett and the man didn't know each other but that Hargett communicated anti-Arab sentiments. Police said Hargett also was under the influence of alcohol, drugs or both.
