One sought, two arrested after fatal Rocky Mount bar fight

Rocky Mount police have arrested two men and are searching for another Saturday after a man was shot to death following a fight inside the Nightlife Bar and Grill on Friday night.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Rocky Mount police have arrested two men and are searching for another Saturday after a man was shot to death following a fight inside a bar early Friday.

Police said that Royal Rakem Williams, 17, Kenny Maliek Bynum, 29, Doron Terrel Alston, 28, and three to four other men got into a fight with 24-year-old Ryan Craig Bobbitt at the Nightlife Bar and Grill, 821 Country Club Road, around 2 a.m.

During the fight, Bobbit was shot and killed with a handgun.

Bynum and Alston were arrested later Friday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and taken to the Nash County jail. Alston was given a $50,000 bond, and Bynum a $15,000 bond. They're scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Williams is wanted on a charge of first-degree murder. He was not in custody as of Sunday morning.
