Police seek leads in Raleigh homicide

The Raleigh Police Department is seeking the public's help as they continue to investigate a fatal shooting in downtown Raleigh on Wednesday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Raleigh Police Department is seeking the public's help as they continue to investigate a fatal shooting in downtown Raleigh on Wednesday. 

Ramon Antonio Shaw, 23, was killed, and Joshua Jamar Vines, 30, was being treated for gunshot wounds after being shot south of the Red Hat Amphitheater just before 5 a.m. 

Police are looking to speak with anyone who was in the area and saw the two vehicles identified in the surveillance photos. 

According to police, both vehicles left the scene shortly after the shootings.
