One killed in Moore County house fire
One person was killed early Saturday in a fire at a home on Brewer Road in Moore County, according to the sheriff's office.

SEAGROVE, N.C. — One person was killed early Saturday in a fire at a home on Brewer Road in Moore County, according to the sheriff's office.
A person driving past the home, which is off Dover Church Road, called authorities at about 4:30 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, the home had already been destroyed by the fire. Two cars outside the home were also burned, authorities said.
A person's body was found inside. Their name has not been released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, sheriff's office officials said.
