One killed in Capital Boulevard wreck

Raleigh police said a man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck late Thursday afternoon on Capital Boulevard.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said a man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck late Thursday afternoon on Capital Boulevard. 

The man, whose name was not released, was taken to WakeMed after the wreck near Brentwood Road, police said. He died at the hospital. 

No more details about the wreck were released.

Police said the wreck caused delays to northbound traffic on Capital Boulevard and in both directions on Brentwood Road during the evening rush hour.
