One killed, another injured in Fayetteville wreck

A preliminary investigation showed Robert Brigman, 57, of Falcon, was traveling northbound on Ramsey Street when his vehicle crossed over the center line causing it to strike a van head on.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One man was killed and another injured in a wreck at the intersection of Ramsey Street and Interstate 295 on Monday, Fayetteville police said.

A preliminary investigation showed Robert Brigman, 57, of Falcon, was traveling northbound on Ramsey Street when his vehicle crossed over the center line causing it to strike a van head on.

The van was being operated by 72-year old James Reeves.

Brigman died at the scene. Reeves was airlifted to UNC Hospitals with serious injuries.
