CARY, N.C. — Police said Tuesday that a suspect in a Cary homicide last month has been arrested in South Carolina, and investigators are searching for a second suspect.

Eriberto Crecencio Bosques, 31, was found dead on the floor inside Wash Tub Laundromat, at 101-E Reed St., on March 29.

Authorities haven't disclosed how Bosques, a painter, was killed.

Rumaldo Ramirez Velasquez, 40, of Merriwood Drive in Cary, was apprehended and charged with first-degree murder, police said. Velasquez was found to be in the United States illegally, and the Department of Homeland Security asked the Wake County Sheriff's Office to keep him in custody without bond.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ruben Gilberto Hernandez, 23, of Holly Hill Court in Cary, charging him with first-degree murder.

Anyone with information about Bosques' death or Hernandez's whereabouts is asked to call Cary police at 919-469-4012 or file an anonymous report with Cary Crime Stoppers at 919-460-4636.
