ASHEVILLE, N.C. — President Barack Obama will visit Asheville next Wednesday to discuss issues addressed in his annual State of the Union speech, which he will give Tuesday night.

Obama will speak at Linemar Corp. in Arden. The company makes precision metallic components and systems for the automotive, energy and industrial markets.

He has visited Asheville three previous times. He campaigned there in 2008, returned for a vacation two years later and spoke about jobs at the Asheville Regional Airport in 2011.
