Oak City 7 announces schedule for free concert series

The Oak City 7 will run on alternating Thursdays in City Plaza starting May 30.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The free concert series Oak City 7 is returning to downtown Raleigh at the end of the month, and we now have a look at the full schedule for this summer. 

The full schedule for OC7 was released on Tuesday. Here it is: 

May 30: Orquesta GarDel, Old Quarter, Erin Nenni Band, Peak City Blues 
June 13: Rosco Bandana, The Trophy Fire, The Human Eyes, Doug McCormick, Jon Stickley Trio
June 27: Cracker, Toddlers, Blanko Basnet, Blue Angel Blue
July 11: Yarn, Chit Nasty Band, Suitcase, Curtis Eller
July 25: Southern Culture on the Skids, Hammer No More Fingers, Unifier, Brent Cobb, Jessica Long and the New Kind
Aug. 8: Big Something, The Broadcast, Wesley Wolfe, Spiralfire
Aug. 22: Toon and the Real Laww (featuring Lucky Island in the Middle East), Young Cardinals, The Roman Spring, River City Ransom
OC7 runs on alternating Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. starting May 30. All shows are held in City Plaza.
Admission is free and there local and craft beers for sale on site.

OC7 is funded completely by sponsors, and hopes to encourage patrons to visit local bars, shops and restaurants before and after every show.
