O&A at the Tonys: Getting glam in the Triangle

RALEIGH, N.C. — Now that I got the dress, I need jewelry to wear at the Tony Awards.

I'm a huge fan of Moon and Lola, which has its flagship store in Apex and two in Raleigh. I was thrilled when they offered to loan me a few pieces to wear to the awards. So, I went to their Cameron Village store, which just recently opened.

To help tone up so I looked good in my dress, I did some cycling at Cameron Village's own Flywheel. That's a serious cardio workout! I left there looking like I had been walking through a thunderstorm.

It's probably not a coincidence that Raleigh's first blow dry bar, Parlor, is located near Flywheel. You need to get your hair washed after that kind of work out. I visited them this week to try out their organic spray tan so I wouldn't blind people with my super pale skin. It was my first time being spray tanned. I'm really happy with the results, but hated having to wait 24 hours before showering. You have to wait to let the solution set or else it will wash away. It really didn't fade on anything before I showered which was amazing!

For makeup, I've booked an appointment at one of the many Sephora locations in NYC for a makeover - free with your $50 purchase. I'm a big fan of Sephora at Crabtree Valley Mall, so I knew I'd get great makeup at any of their locations.
