So here's another activity to add to Go Ask Mom's spring break guide: North Hills Kids open play begins Monday.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, North Hills in Raleigh will set up tents and lay out large, colorful foam blocks for kids to play with. Find it all in the Commons area next to Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's. It's best for toddlers and to young grade schoolers.

On many Wednesdays, North Hills will schedule special programs. To find out what's happening, check in with the North Hills Kids Facebook page. North Hills also be reaching out to moms on the Facebook page with information and tips on all kinds of topics. North Hills Kids runs through the spring and summer.
And Go Ask Mom will be back this season with two events during North Hills Kids and one during the Midtown Farmers' Market at North Hills, which opens for the season April 21.

We'll be out there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, and Wednesday, Aug. 8. And, for the working parents out there, we'll also be at the farmers' market on Saturday, Sept. 29.

I have a lot planned for our April event. Let's just say there should be a fire truck, the Chick-fil-A cow, a fun activity from Lil' Chef, a free Stroller Strides class, free child IDs (with plans to make the line more manageable) and much more. I'm working out all the details now, but stayed tuned next week for much more.

Check the box above for scenes of our previous events at North Hills Kids. Can't wait!
