No injuries were reported Wednesday afternoon when a car slammed into a Cary apartment building, police said.

CARY, N.C. — No injuries were reported Wednesday afternoon when a car slammed into a Cary apartment building, police said.
Officers were called to 311 Hastings Place at about 4 p.m. after a car damaged the brick building. Investigators said the driver involved hit the gas pedal in their car instead of the brake.
No other information about the incident has been released.
