No bomb found at new Goldsboro hospital
The 4th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team and 4th Security Forces Squadron from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base were called to the new Cherry Hospital, 1401 W. Ash St., Thursday to investigate a bomb threat.
Posted — UpdatedGOLDSBORO, N.C. — The 4th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team and 4th Security Forces Squadron from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base were called to the new Cherry Hospital, 1401 W. Ash St., Thursday to investigate a bomb threat.
They found no sign of explosives, according to Lt. Keavy Rake.
Air Force personnel said it's normal procedure for them to assist local authorities in this type of situation.
